Recruiting Update- Luke Braaten (Brick Memorial HS)

Class of 2022 Luke Braaten is getting near decision time in his recruitment process. The 6’7 center has visited a variety of schools so far.

He broke down a few of these with Northeast Corridor Hoops.

“I’ve heard from a lot of schools but some of the top choices that I have visited are Randolph Macon, Scranton, TCNJ, and Arcadia.”

Randolph Macon: “I had the opportunity to run pick up with the #1 ranked D3 school, which was a great experience as they have 2 All- Americans on their roster. I met with Coach Merkel and had a great conversation. Randolph Macon’s campus was really nice and their program is top notch.”

Scranton: “I visited them twice and had great conversations with the coaching staff. I was able to stay onsite in the dorm and get a good feel for the campus and program which I really liked.”

TCNJ: “They are another school that I have visited twice. TCNJ is a high academic school with a nice campus. I was able to do a team camp and had great conversations with the coaches.”

Arcadia: “I also visited Arcadia and met with the coaches and team. I had a great tour and really liked the campus.”

“I still have coaches reaching out but I am hoping to make my decision by January/February.”
